"One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind"

Well, Alicynn had her tonsils and adenoids removed on Friday. She is such a trooper. All of the nurses commented that she acted so grown up for her age...not once did she complain. She took Peaches with her to the surgicare center. Peaches is her build a bear pig that has been through a lot with her. (Peaches was with her in the emergency room when she cut her foot on glass.) Peaches accompanied Alicynn into the surgery room, and she slept holding Peaches in recovery. Today she definitely was feeling better...she was doing things she knew better about doing. Her appetite is coming back...I thought she was going to eat us out of house and home!

I have finished typing and submitting my AP Literature and Composition Syllabus for approval by the College Board. Working on this has been a large task. The final product was 18 pages long. I should teach a college course now! I have never felt so relieved about a school project in all my life as when I hit the "submit" button on the computer tonight! Now, I just have to wait for approval.

I am thinking that Peaches should have a hospital gown too! I am shocked that they let her (Peaches) parade around the hospital naked!!! Glad to hear that Alicynn is on the road to recovery!

Congrats on finishing the AP syllabus. I know it's been a lot of work, but at least it's done!

an 18 page syllabus! Holy cow, I had college textbooks that were not as long.
